7:30am- 3:00pm Philadelphia, PA - Washington D.C. (76 miles)

Washington D.C. had lots of traffic. I was riding with a cold, so I rested on Fri/Sat, and Sun., I had to get ready for my Monday flight back to L.A. Had to get the bike boxed up, did some site-seeing, and tried to find some duffle bags for my gear, which surprisingly took most of my day. Virginia is beautiful, with lots of trees and bicycle trails.

6:00am- 3:00pm Philadelphia, PA - Baltimore, MD (87 miles)

I didn't see anything interesting in Baltimore. I started to get a head cold, so I didn't do much. Delaware had nice roads and highways, as did Maryland.

5:45am- 4:30pm New York, NY - Philadelphia, PA (96 miles)

New Jersey is nicer than I've heard, but riding from Secaucus, NJ to southern NJ is terrible. It was nice to reach Pennsylvania, which has better roads. Philadelphia was easier to enter than most major cities, perhaps I got lucky. Not much traffic and one-way roads made for an easy ride. The "Old Town" is quaint, but I didn't see the Liberty Bell.
